Infant and toddler care, before & after school care and full and half day preschool programs are held at Vandenboom Child Development & Activity Center, located at 1175 Erie Avenue in Marquette.

Coached by Matt Williams, our goal as a swim team is to: teach the fundamental skills of competitive swimming; encourage lifetime involvement in healthy, physical activity; teach the values of discipline, goal-setting, self-improvement and sportsmanship; create lasting friendships; have loads of fun and; practice the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Preschool programming is designed to be interactive and developmental. All children enrolled in preschool programs must be toilet trained.

YMCAs are for people of all ages, incomes and abilities. Half of YMCAs’ members nationwide are under age 18. YMCAs give teens a safe place to call their own, a chance to connect with adults who care about them and an opportunity to get involved in programs that help them grow.

Family programs at the YMCA of Marquette County strengthen family ties, instill core values and provide families with worry free, fun activities to do TOGETHER.
