Strong Kids Scholarship Campaign

At the YMCA, our most important goal is to enrich the lives of everyone in our community. When some are left out, it leaves us all a bit incomplete. That’s because providing a safe and nurturing environment benefits everyone. By introducing youth to experiences that will help them grow into responsible, successful adults, we make the community we love a better place to live. One child at time. One family at a time.

YMCA programs teach young people important values such as caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Through a variety of fun and rewarding activities, they develop valuable skills while they gain confidence and self-esteem. You simply cannot put a price on strengthening and enriching the character of a child.

To ensure that no one is denied a chance to participate because of the inability to pay, we need your help. A donation, no matter how large or small, can help make a difference in the lives of a member of our community. 100% of all donations go to members in need and stays in Marquette County. By working together, we can give more kids the opportunity to grow strong in spirit, mind, and body.

This year’s Strong Kids Campaign launched with a goal of raising $77,400. We hope that you will contribute generously so that people in our community can share the YMCA experience.
$25/month = $300 annually provides swim lessons for two children
$30/month = $360 annually provides summer camp experiences for two children
$50/month = $600 annually provides membership for three children
$125/month = $1,500 annually provides membership and summer camp experiences for three children.
